Cancer is complicated…..helping people is simple

Organization:  Cancer:  The Aftermath

Mission:  “To help families after they have lost a loved one to cancer rebuild their lives financially”

Who inspired us: Our Sister, Dawn McCourt and her husband Junior, Our friend Carrie Noble and her children, our grandparents Marion and John Stangis, and Amelia and Marion Orr, and so many others whose families have felt “The Aftermath” of losing someone to cancer.

Why we do what we do:  Once a loved one has passed, the grief is overwhelming. Life however has to move forward and there are so many obstacles to overcome.  Families not only need renewed purpose but their financial responsibilities are one of the biggest obstacles!  Medical bills do not go away!  In fact, they mount up even faster and when you are grieving it can lead to family heartbreak all over again!  Hospitals, doctors, anesthesiologists, labs, surgeries, prescriptions just to name a few come calling without delay. Our families and members families have all been touched in some way from the “The Aftermath” and we vow to do all we can to help as many families as possible.

TTMS Corporation:  This is where we come in.  We are raising money in any way we can for these families.  Facebook fundraiser campaigns, 50/50 raffles at Vendor & Craft Shows, Mailings, Word of mouth, advertising events, promoting businesses who help us, etc.
